Since I have yet to post a blog about the Henrik Lundqvist 2012 Bridgestone Winter Classic Jersey, this is it!
This jersey is a very vintage looking "sweater" as some might say. On the front it has the Rangers Winter Classic sign, with rounded edges and a more circular look. The body color of this jersey is a cream / bone color, to make it look like more vintage. On the bottom of the front, it has three stripes, one red, one bone, and one dark blue, just like the home and away jerseys, but in a different color. On the top of the jersey it also has one red stripe, then a sliver of bone, then a dark blue for the shoulder part. On the right side of the shoulder, it has the 2012 Bridgestone Winter Classic Sign on it, to represent. Although this sign is on the right, it is not on the left. On the sleeve the number has a dark blue inside and a red outline. Below that are three stripes, one dark blue, one red, and another dark blue. On the back they have two stripes at the top just below the shoulder, in bone and red. Below that the last name will be in dark blue, and in this picture it looks as the name is in a box, like the Flyers jerseys. Dark blue is the inside color of the number on the back, and a red outline. Below the number is yet three more stripes. One red, one bone, and one dark blue. This jersey is made by Reebok, the leading manufacturer of all jerseys in the NHL. This jersey is also the Rangers 4th jersey, Home, Away, Alternate, and now Winter Classic. I cannot wait to see this very vintage, cool, and great jersey be on Henrik when he is in the net for the Winter Classic.
